Detailed Tutorial Steps

Step 1: Download Installer

  1. Go to the download page
  2. Choose the appropriate version for your operating system
  3. Click download button and wait for completion

Step 2: Install Application

Windows Installation
  1. Double-click the downloaded .exe file
  2. Follow the installation wizard
  3. Choose installation path (default recommended)
  4. Wait for installation to complete
macOS Installation
  1. Double-click the downloaded .dmg file
  2. Drag Kotae to Applications folder
  3. Allow permissions on first launch
  4. Complete installation
⚠️ Important Permission Settings

On macOS, you need to grant Kotae 'Screen Recording' and 'Accessibility' permissions in System Preferences → Security & Privacy → Privacy for screenshot functionality to work properly.
